Leo M′s Story

We are Leo and Benjie.

We’ve been together our whole lives.

Maria chose us when we were just puppies—small, clumsy, and always getting into trouble. She laughed when we tumbled over each other, called us her “boys,” and from that day on, we never knew life without her.

She was our home.

At the beginning of this year, Maria had to travel for seminars. That wasn’t unusual. We stayed with a pet sitter before, and it always ended the same way—waiting at the door, tails wagging wildly when she came back.

So when she dropped us off, we didn’t worry.

We didn’t know.

We didn’t know that while we were waiting… she passed away suddenly.

We didn’t get to see her again.

No goodbye. No last cuddle. Just waiting that never ended.

We are two hearts that lost their person.

We are older now. Calm. Easy. We don’t ask for much.

Just a soft place to rest. A quiet home. Someone to be near.

Most of all, we need to stay together—because we’ve always had each other.

We are not starting from the beginning.

We are looking for a place to spend our golden years, with someone who will give us the love we still have so much of.

A home where we don’t have to wait anymore.
